Rahmatullah Arman completed his secondary school studies in Kabul, Afghanistan, and received a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a Masters in International Human Resources Management from the University of Pune, India. While in Pune, he worked as a volunteer in Teach For India Fellows’ classrooms, where he found deep resonance in the mission of Teach For All network partners to end educational inequity in their nations. With this inspiration, Mr. Arman is currently leading Teach For Afghanistan as its CEO and Founder, with operations in the Nangarhar and Parwan provinces of Afghanistan.At Pune University, Mr. Arman was among the highest ranked national and international students from 2007-2011, and earned several national and international awards at debates and conferences. He has served in leading positions within government and private sector organizations in a variety of fields, and was selected as an inaugural member of the Malala Fund’s Gulmakai Network of champions for girls’ education.Teach For Afghanistan has placed 80 Fellows in 21 schools in Nangarhar province, reaching over 13,000 girls and more than 10,000 boys.
Afrah Muzayen is engineer by degree but an educator by passion. After completing her engineering in electronics and communication engineering, she was selected as a Fellow in Teach for India. At Teach For India, she was the first teacher of 48 second graders in a municipal school of Pune. With a deep passion for education, she started working with teachers and schools in conflict-zone of Kashmir. She joined TAO in February 2018 , where she leads the fundraising operations and builds strategic partnerships with other organizations. She also believes in the power of children to inspire change and lead their own lives to be anything they choose to be; all they need is a platform to identify their untapped potential.When she’s neither working nor eating, you will find her travelling, reading or documenting the street life.
Ms. Mariam Ghafoori possesses unparalleled integrity and has a great deal of intellectual and social capacity. She is observant and fights hard for her goals and beliefs. With years of fights and resistance, she overcomes challenges and obstacles to complete school in 2009 at a time when girls were not allowed to go to school after finishing school she got selected for a scholarship to do B.A in India. She completed her bachelor with an honorary degree in Political Science from Punjab University, India in 2013. She believes Communities change when mindsets are transformed, to transform mindsets needs improving people awareness and education, Teach for Afghanistan provides quality education for future generations and future builders of Afghanistan . Therefore to be part of this movement Ms. Mariam is at Teach for Afghanistan.
Aimal Qaderi was born in Kabul and completed his secondary school in Kabul. He has done his MBA in strategic management and leadership from United Kingdom. He is deeply passionate about education in Afghanistan and feels utter joy to brand the impactful work of Teach For Afghanistan.
Faisal Ghafari completed his secondary school in Kabul and is an engineer by degree. he has obtained the highest mark in KanKor and has Certificates and Diplomas in science and language from Iran, he is a firm believer that education can change the future of the universe. This inspires him to be a part of Teach For Afghanistan and do his part in providing excellent education, he is currently doing his MBA with a private university as he thinks getting education does never end and every degree is a starting point to learn more.
Abdul Ahad Hamraz was born in Kabul and completed his secondary school in Kabul. He attended Alti State Government University in Barnaul city of Altai state, Russian Federation where he was exposed to innovative education practices and he got interested to work in education back in Afghanistan. After completing of his studies, he joined Teach For Afghanistan and is passionate about his contribution in changing the landscape of education. He is fluent in Dari, Pashto, English and Russian Language.
Hashmatullah Ahmadzai has completed his secondary school education in Kabul and attended University of Pune for his bachelor’s degree. After finishing his degree, he joined Teach For Afghanistan and manages the operations in Parwan Province.
Mohammad Sadiq Chamkani completed his secondary school in Nangarhar, Afghanistan. He did his MBA from University of Pune, India. He manages the operations at Nangarhar Province of Teach For Afghanistan.
